SUMMARY OF DUTIES
The primary responsibility for theLearning & Development (L&D) Specialist is to design and implementcutting-edge training programs that foster professional growth and enhance theskill sets of our employees. Collaborating closely with various departments, theL&D Specialist will play a pivotal role in creating engaging and effectivelearning experiences tailored to our organization's needs.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
· Designand create comprehensive training programs for employees across differentdepartments. These programs will encompass onboarding, skill development, leadershiptraining, and other relevant initiatives.
· Implementtraining strategies by utilizing the latest training methodologies andtechnologies to deliver impactful learning experiences.
· Facilitatein-person workshops, virtual sessions, and e-learning platforms to ensure aversatile approach and cater to diverse learning styles.
· Evaluatetraining effectiveness by conducting assessments and gathering feedback tomeasure the success of training initiatives.
· Utilizedata-driven insights (from assessments and feedback) to continuously improvethe quality and relevance of the programs.
· Collaborate& partner with internal subject matter experts and external trainingvendors to ensure the content is up to date, accurate, and aligns with ourorganizational objectives.
· Facilitate& support career development paths for employees by identifying skill gapsand providing personalized training recommendations.
· Keepup-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in learning anddevelopment to bring innovative ideas and strategies to our training programs.
· Curateand maintain a repository of learning resources, including training materials,manuals, and digital assets.
· Promotea culture of continuous learning and professional growth throughout theorganization.
· Performsall other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor'sdegree in, Human Service Field, Education, Organizational Psychology, or arelated field, plus 3 years paid experience -OR- Master's degreein a human service field or a related degree (Business Admin, Trainingetc.) (e.g. LCSW, LMHC, LMFT).
· Provenexperience in designing and implementing successful training programs.
· Familiaritywith various training delivery methods, including virtual training platforms.
· Stronganalytical skills to evaluate training effectiveness and measure impact.
· Excellentcommunication and presentation abilities, with the capability to engage andinspire learners.
· Collaborativeand adaptable team player with the capacity to work cross-functionally.
· Proficiencyin using learning management systems (LMS) and other training-relatedtechnologies.
· Reliabletransportation to be able to commute between agency sites on a regular basis.
